Rules & Regulations
Our club operates with integrity and discipline. These guidelines ensure a safe, fair, and enjoyable experience for every member.
Membership & Eligibility
- All members must be at least 18 years of age to register with UCL.
- Annual membership fees must be paid in full before participating in any club activities.
- Members must provide accurate personal and contact information upon registration.
- Any false information provided during registration may result in immediate suspension.
- Membership is non-transferable and must be renewed on an annual basis.
Code of Conduct
- All players must display the highest standards of sportsmanship on and off the field.
- Verbal or physical abuse towards teammates, opponents, officials, or spectators is strictly prohibited.
- Umpires decisions are final and must be respected at all times.
- Any form of discrimination based on race, religion, gender, or nationality will not be tolerated.
- Players are expected to arrive on time for all matches, training sessions, and team meetings.
Match Rules
- All matches will be played according to the standard ICC rules unless otherwise specified.
- Each team must have a minimum of 9 players available to avoid forfeiting a match.
- Match fixtures will be announced at least 7 days in advance on official club channels.
- Any player arriving late may Bat lower in the batting order at the captain discretion.
- Substitution of players during a match is only permitted with prior approval from the umpires.
Practice & Training
- All players must attend a minimum of 60% of scheduled training sessions to be eligible for selection.
- Training schedules will be published weekly and may be adjusted based on weather conditions.
- Players must bring their own kit and equipment to all training sessions.
- Use of club equipment must be handled with care and reported if damaged.
- Fitness and conditioning sessions are mandatory for all squad members.
Equipment & Kit
- Club uniforms must be worn for all official matches and club events.
- Players are responsible for maintaining their own personal protective equipment including helmets, pads, and gloves.
- Club-provided equipment must be returned at the end of each season in good condition.
- All bats must conform to standard size and weight regulations as per ICC guidelines.
- Use of unauthorized equipment or modifications is strictly prohibited during matches.
Disciplinary Actions
- Minor infractions will result in a formal warning from the disciplinary committee.
- Repeated violations of club policies may lead to a temporary suspension from matches.
- Serious misconduct including violence or discrimination will result in immediate expulsion from the club.
- All disciplinary decisions can be appealed in writing within 14 days of the ruling.
- The disciplinary committee comprises three senior members elected at the start of each season.
